The Shape Your Beauty Brow is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. People suffering from alopecia, trigonometrical or any other condition that causes hair loss benefit greatly from microblading, as well as people who simply aren’t happy with their eyebrows. The pigments used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow colour, and if the eyebrows are still present, blend perfectly into them. The results are natural and flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.

Aftercare Instruction

Approximate Healing Time: Two to four (2-4) weeks

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT LET ANY WATER TOUCH YOUR EYEBROW AREA FOR THE FIRST 4 DAYS.

On the 4th day you can gently cleanse the area with a mild soap. 

The following must be avoided during the first 7 days of post-microblading procedure:

  • Makeup/Moisturizer

  • Increased sweating

  • Practicing Sports

  • Swimming

  • Hot sauna, hot bath or jacuzzi

  • Sun tanning or salon tanning

  • UV/UVA rays or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in colour or premature fading.

  • Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the face or neck -Picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment. -Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning, such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris.

  • Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of the wounds.

  1. I love it! Fresh out of the studio, you’re excited to have BROWS!

  2. They’re too dark & thick! The final color of the brows will heal 40%-60% lighter and shrink about 20% - DON’T FREAK OUT!

  3. Scabs will form - DON’T PICK AT SCABS.

  4. Shower and moisturizer as normal. Do not scrub area or apply any products with acids.

  5. It’s patchy, itchy and uneven! Very normal.

  6. My color is disappearing and looks kind of greyish! Don’t worry this is the body’s way of healing, it’ll come back.... aka milky skin.

  7. The color is coming back and I love it!

  8. The dead skin will slough off soon and true colors will show.

  9. Time for enhancement session to perfect my brows!

Microblading Healing Steps

(WHAT TO EXPECT) 

Once completely healed, always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 up to SPF 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure might cause the color pigment to fade away more quickly. When using foundation, be aware when applying, to avoid your healed eyebrows. If foundation covers healed brows, your eyebrows will appear lighter.

You may be allowed to donate blood within the standard deferral period if you present a copy of your client record provided by the body art facility to the blood donor facility.
